Movies To Watch
Maybe this isn’t the place for a post like this, or maybe it is. Anyway, I have been amassing a healthy list of movies that I have yet to watch. I guess I keep waiting for company, but everyone’s busy. Anyway, the list might be some sort of snapshot of my interests, give or take a minute or two. All the info is from IMDB.

Breaking Glass (1980)
A rock singer is determined to rise to the top of the profession, letting nothing stand in the way of that goal.

Ladies and Gentlemen, The Fabulous Stains (1981)
Corrine Burns retreats far into plans for her band, The Fabulous Stains, after her mother’s death. So far that she gets them (she and two cousins) on a tour with a washed-out glam-rock group and a rising British punk band, radically changes her appearance, attracts a cult following and national media attention. With luck like this, what could go wrong?

What We Do Is Secret (2007)
A biopic of punk legend Darby Crash and his band, the Germs.

片腕マシンガル (The Machine Girl) (2008)
The life of a young, Japanese schoolgirl is destroyed when her family is killed by a Ninja-Yakuza family. Her hand cut off, she replaces it with various machines-of-death, and seeks revenge.

JCVD (2008)
The film establishes Jean-Claude Van Damme, who is playing himself in an alternate reality, as an out of luck actor. He’s out of money, his agent can’t find him a decent production, and the judge in a custody battle is inclined to give custody of his daughter over to his ex-wife. He returns to his childhood home of Brussels: where hes still considered a national icon.

C’era Una Volta Il West (Once Upon A Time In The West) (1968)
Epic story of a mysterious stranger with a harmonica who joins forces with a notorious desperado to protect a beautiful widow from a ruthless assassin working for the railroad.

I watched “The Machine Girl” recently.
The director is a crazy shit.
HollyWood movie maker never make that one.
Because cannot earn money.
But Quentin Tarantino probably love this.
“Geisha Robot” is also hifey.

Cool. So far, I’ve only seen JCVD and Once Upon A Time In The West. Both were good, and I’d recommend them. They’re both tough guy movies, but in JCVD, there’s no action really. It’s more of a drama with a little comedy. Jean-Claude Van Damme, did a great job of acting. Once Upon A Time In The West has lots of western gunfights. It’s a classic.

I’l try JCVD soon. But I might not be able to get it in Japan. In fact, A Day Without Mexican is not released in here. Japan sucks!!

Oh, I never heard of A Day Without A Mexican. I don’t think I’ll watch it, though, it got a pretty bad review. If you can’t find JCVD in Japan, you should try to download it.
